Learn to Swim Group Lessons

This year, CSTC will offer three swim lesson sessions. Each session is two weeks long, with lessons held Monday through Thursday mornings. Friday mornings are reserved for make-up days when classes are canceled due to inclement weather.

Fee: $35 per child, per session

Please complete the registration form for your selected session(s) and drop off the form with payment at the CSTC Office by the deadline listed for each session. Each session must be paid for separately.

Registration forms will also be available at the front office. No registration or payment is required for the swim lesson evaluation on June 6.

Session Dates

Swim Lesson Evaluations: Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 AM

Session 1: June 8–19
Registration Deadline: Saturday, June 6

Session 2: June 22–July 3
Registration Deadline: Saturday, June 20

Session 3: July 6–17
Registration Deadline: Saturday, July 4

Swim Lesson Evaluation

All swimmers enrolling in swim lessons are welcome to attend the Swim Lesson Evaluation on Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 AM. This helps swimmers get comfortable with the environment, meet instructors, and be assessed for the most appropriate lesson level.

Swim Lesson Levels

Level I: Water Exploration — for children with no previous swimming experience.

Level II: Primary Skills — underwater exploration, unsupported movement, front/back combined stroke, and jumping in without help.

Level III: Stroke Readiness — front crawl, diving, elementary backstroke, and back crawl.

Level IV: Stroke Development — side-stroke and breaststroke with focus on form, coordination, and endurance.

Levels V & VI: Further Stroke Development — butterfly kick, underwater swimming skills, and stroke mastery.

Lesson Times

These times are tentative and may change based on registration numbers. Additional time slots may be added. If times change, families will be notified by email and Remind.

Level 1: 10:30–11:00 AM

Level 2: 11:00–11:30 AM & 11:30 AM–12:00 PM

Level 3: 9:45–10:15 AM & 10:30–11:00 AM

Level 4: 10:15–11:00 AM

Levels 5 & 6: 11:00–11:45 AM
